Metal Rust Prevention is an Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems brand. Oak Ridge manufactures and distributes industrial polyurea — the same elastomer family used for containment liners and truck beds — applied here to the problem fabricators and OEMs face: shipping a part that will still be sound in fifteen years.
We work upstream on purpose. Most of the coating industry sells into maintenance, because that is where the recurring revenue is. Our position is that a shop coating applied once to clean steel is a better product for the customer even though it means we sell less material over the asset's life.
We supply fabricators, OEMs, steel service centers, and the coating contractors who serve them. Volume programs and scheduled supply are available — tell us your annual square footage and we will build a schedule around it.

If you are adding a coating bay to a fab shop, the questions we get asked most are about throughput, not chemistry: how many square feet per hour, how much bay space, what the blast-to-coat handoff looks like, and what it does to the schedule. We can answer all of that, including proportioner sizing and realistic production rates.
If you already outsource coating, we can put you in touch with applicators who run our material — or supply your existing coating contractor directly.
Private label: Oak Ridge products are available under the WatchGuard brand for OEMs and distributors who want the coating carried under their own name — including WatchGuard Coatings and WatchGuard Primer.
